I had the opportunity to visit the Motorcycle Tire Store on S. Agnew in OKC yesterday to get my new Shinko 705 radial mounted on the DL. $25 with the wheel still on the bike when I rolled in. Super nice guys and they did great work. From the stickers and hats everywhere, it does look like I possibly supported my local Outlaws. Pics:

New Flashlight: MTE-907 Tactical
I just received my last Christmas present to myself today. The MTE C3-907 Tactical flashlight is a 1 AA light with a CREE LED bulb. Unfortunately, it is of Chinese manufacture. It claims a peak of 170 lumens at full power, and also has a normal (60 Lumen) and an energy-saving (30 lumen) mode. There are also lots of different strobe and "SOS" modes that I likely won't use.
I purchased this light based on recommendations from trusted people. This is a quality light, not Chinese junk. From what I gather, though, the real deal can only be found at http://site.gregmcgeeengineering.com/. There are said to be lots of imitators with cheaper LEDs and especially cheaper lenses. Here is a picture I took, but go to McGee Engineering and check it out for yourself. For $30 shipped, it has $100 plus surefire lights against the ropes. Oh, the tail switch also glows in the dark. Imagine that. A flashlight you can see in the dark. Here's a picture of mine:
And an ad I found on youtube:

The light is better quality than the video. And finally, here is a much better review: http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1276743
